Our staff provide a caring, relaxed and fun atmosphere for your child to play, enjoy time with friends and try lots of activities, games and toys. Our staff are all DBS checked and have lots of experience working with children. Our staff have all undergone Safeguarding Training. They will aim to work within the framework of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Hi, I’m Annette. After working in London for 20 years, I found myself searching for childcare in Chiswell Green. When I couldn’t find the right fit, I decided to think outside the box and create my own After School Club.
Club Kidz opened in Chiswell Green in 2013, welcoming children from Killigrew, St Adrian’s and Prae Wood. My aim was simple: to create a Club with a safe environment where my own children would love coming.
Cooking, creative activities and plenty of fun were at the heart of it from the start. They still are. We listen to the children’s ideas and interests, helping us tailor each session to the things they love to do.
As Club Kidz has grown, so has a team I’m incredibly proud of — some of whom have been with me since the very beginning. Caring, compassionate and brilliant with children, they go above and beyond every day to keep our Clubs running smoothly and our children smiling.

Hi, I’m Nikky! With over 20 years of experience in childcare, including 13 years managing Out of School Clubs, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and exciting environment for children to learn and play.
I joined the Club Kidz family 10 years ago and have loved every moment of sharing my knowledge with our wonderful team. I hold a Level 4 qualification in Early Years Care and Education, along with up-to-date Level 3 certifications in Safeguarding and Behavior Management. I am also fully trained in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Allergy Management, and Prevent Duty.
As a mum myself (whose child loves attending our clubs!), I know how important peace of mind is for parents. In my spare time, I’m an avid crafter and love bringing new, creative activities to the club for the kids to enjoy!
Andrea Buckingham

Hi, I’m Andrea. I have 25 years’ experience in childcare, from childminding and working as a Pre School Deputy Manager to managing an After School Club and working as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School.
I love caring for and working with children across a wide range of ages. My aim is to create a fun, caring environment where every child feels welcome and supported.
I hold a Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education, alongside training in Special Educational Needs (SEN), Paediatric First Aid and Designated Safeguarding.
We’re loving our move to Killigrew school, with more opportunities for the children to get outside, enjoy ball games and let off steam — simply being children at the end of a busy school day.

Hello, I’m Wendy. I have 35 years of experience in childcare, including 20 years in After School Clubs and 5 years running a Playgroup. I have qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in childcare. In my spare time I'm a mum of 5 and a grandmother of 12! I am also a Parish Councillor . I love gardening, reading, cooking and quizzes- all of which I bring to Club Kidz in one form or other. I am known for my creativity and my passion for incorporating traditional values within the contemporary childcare setting of Club Kidz.

Hi, I’m Alyisha! I joined Club Kidz in February 2016 and have 11 years of experience as a Playworker.
I hold an Open Degree from the Open University, completed in 2022. My training includes Level 3 Child Safeguarding, completed in October 2026, and Full Paediatric First Aid, awarded in October 2025, alongside courses in Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Children’s Wellbeing and Food Safety.
What I enjoy most about Club Kidz is getting to know the children, encouraging their ideas and seeing their confidence grow. I particularly enjoy coming up with activity ideas to introduce throughout my working week with the children. I take inspiration from their interests and suggestions, giving them opportunities to try new things, use their imagination and help shape the activities we enjoy together. I bring a friendly, calm and caring approach, helping children feel included and comfortable.

Hi! I’ve been at Club Kidz for almost 8 years now, so it’s safe to say I love my job! I have two younger siblings and a passion for baking and reading. I enjoy planning and taking part in activities at the Club, whether it is baking or outdoor games.
I am currently working towards my Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and Education, and I also have a Master's Degree in Neuropsychology.
It is important to me that all children feel safe and welcome at our Club. Getting to know each of the children and what they like doing is what I love. I am very fond of the team we have at Club Kidz, they make every day fun!

Hi, I’m Elliott. I have 7 years of child work experience as a Playworker with Club Kidz.
I have completed the Child Safeguarding Level 2 course and my favourite parts of working at Club Kidz is keeping the children active and making sure they are safe while having fun.
I am currently studying at Hertfordshire University for a Bachelors degree in Geography and I have a special interest in sports.

Hi, I’m Eda! I have worked at Club Kidz as a Playworker and Breakfast Club Assistant since November 2024. I help keep children, from Nursery to Year 6, safe, happy and engaged in a range of activities.
In Turkey, I gained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Teaching and a Master’s Degree in History. I worked as a Primary and Middle School Teacher from 2020 to 2022. I’m also a certified Creative Drama Instructor.
My UK training includes Emergency First Aid and COSHH, covering Health, Safety and Hazard Control. My SEND training covers autism, ADHD, Neurodiversity and Managing Challenging Behaviours, with completion scheduled for November 2026.
I love the energy children bring and enjoy creating fun, imaginative activities inspired by them. Helping to build a safe, happy environment where every child feels valued is what motivates me, alongside being part of such a supportive team.

Hi I’m Delia,
I retrained in my 50's to work with children and young people and have worked with Annette at Club kidz since 2014.
I am well known to the children across the settings due to my top secret bubble solution, the children love making the biggest bubbles they can and chasing them around.

Hello, I’m Irene I have been a team member of Club kidz for eight years and have enjoyed working with children from nursery to year six. I also have a four year old grandson to keep me on my toes!

Hi, I’m Phillipa, a Manager at Club Kidz - the best job ever! I enjoy working with the children seeing them problem solve through play. They make my day brighter and they feel like an extension of my family.
Club Kidz is where we are all family. The children look out for one another and offer help whenever it’s needed.
I am a fully qualified Childcare Practitioner and have all relevant childcare courses including Paediatric First Aid (hopefully we never need it!).

Hi, I’m Grace. I’ve been working at Club Kidz for just under 2 years now. I love working at the Club as every day is so different and I love watching the kids' personalities and confidence grow. We have such a lovely team and it is so rewarding coming to work and doing something I really enjoy!
